Founded in 2025, Day Zero Academy emerged from a simple observation: traditional education wasn't keeping pace with the rapidly evolving tech landscape. Our founders, Rebecca Yip and Jessica Cheung, saw a gap between conventional learning methods and the practical skills needed in today's digital economy.
What started as informal workshops for friends has grown into a vibrant community of learners and builders, united by their desire to master new technologies and create meaningful projects.

A veteran in the startup ecosystem, Rebecca brings over a decade of experience in building and scaling tech companies. Her passion for entrepreneurship education drives our mission to empower the next generation of founders.
Jessica Cheung
Co-founder
Operator, investor and educator specialising in venture building. Principal at Entrepreneurs First, advising 500 founders & 40 venture-backed startups. Ex-Nest VC, Founders Forum, business instructor at EmpowerU (HKU).
